Pineywoods Writer's Retreat
From the moment you enter the front door, you know you're in a special place. As you pass by the restored student lockers, your eyes are drawn to the entrance into the great room.
What was once the auditorium and stage has been transformed into a beautiful living and dining space that includes an open kitchen.
There is magic everywhere in the Coke Schoolhouse
Spacious and inviting, the former auditorium has become the living and dining area for a crowd. It also includes a stage for entertainment.
The chef's kitchen has three ovens, two dishwashers, a six-burner stovetop with a griddle, and a commercial pantry to keep food prep and clean-up out of sight. Cooks are encouraged to visit with other guests in the great room.
The stage can be used to highlight special people or items or for entertainment purposes.
This is one of the seating areas in the great room. Perfect for more intimate conversations while still allowing interaction within the larger guest area.
Coffee or drink counter area. Also serves as a food serving line.
The two former classrooms have been turned into private suites with each providing a king bed, a queen bed, and a private sitting area with an electric fireplace. Although not containing in-suite restrooms, those facilities are just a few steps away from each suite.

The pink bathroom contains two stalls, two sinks, and a shower.

The green bathroom contains one stall, one urinal, two sinks, and a shower.

The half bath is ADA compliant.
